BODY TEMPLE CHURCH VIRTUAL PILGRIMAGE

Resurrecting the Feminine

What if the things you've been taught to fear - grief, rage, your own wildness, your own death - are actually the doorway to everything you've been longing for?

This is not a “wellness” event. We are not “well” we are alive and here to serve.

It's an initiation into the body as a living temple — into tantra, goddess wisdom, and the kind of somatic artistry that our culture has systematically tried to sever us from.

For three mornings we gather to work directly with grief, rage, the erotic, and the ancestral as doorways — not to problems that need fixing, but to the creative essence, the soul nourishment, and the embodied aliveness that are your actual birthright. Through trance dance, ritual theater, womb tending, and shamanic writing practice we move what lives in the tissue, in the pelvis, in the inherited stories of the women who came before us.

When the body becomes the temple, everything changes. The way you hold space. The way you create. The way you move through the world and invite others to do the same.

That is what we're here for.

  • “I've been meaning to send you tremendous gratitude for sharing your work with me

(and with the world), for being you and for sharing your gifts with the world. I’m so grateful to be able to weave BTD into my work with clients. It’s added a new layer of magic, beauty, intuition, Divine Feminine and spice to everything i do.”

    — Annalise Oatman

  • “Working with you Adriana has really supported me in Finding safety and connection

in the separation and in the differences and that we don't have to agree and that and like your honesty and your ability to hold the paradox, which I know is just very inherent in my own being, but I just constantly feel like oh l've been healing a lot, my
agreeableness and like trying to make people fucking comfortable in that way. I want to say it cause I'm really just so grateful to be mirrored by you in so many ways and all the ways that you mirror for me more freedom just in being who you are.” Jacky Paulson

  • “Adriana creates such a safe space for supporting others in being themselves.

She’s really encouraged me to embrace my own witchy healer self and let it be seen whether it be in real life or on social media without fear. She’s got a be your own bad ass attitude that vibrates and seeps itself into you if you work with her because she lives it and give it generously. She’s fully embodied fierceness and love.

I’ve had the privilege of working with her extensively this year in numerous way and can’t wait to continue sharing in her magic”.

    — Rosa

  • “I started to notice more space in my body and heart and have been able to give more as everything has been expanding.

I am a new mother and this training has helped me feel very supported in doing the work for myself in a loving community so I can not only be the mother I want to be for my child but the human I want to be in the crazy world.”

    — Lauren

  • “I truly feel as though I have come home to my own body.

Learning about the anatomy of the female prostate and its connection to the vagus nerve has empowered me in my relationship with my body unlike anything else in my life. It has demystified so much, healed so much shame, and shown me exactly how much pleasure is available to me from within my own body. Everyone with a vagina deserves to have this information.”

    — Caroline

RESURRECTING THE FEMININE: RELEASING THE SHAME THAT BLINDS US

Across cultures and generations the feminine body has been severed from its own wisdom — from tantra, from goddess lineage, from the knowing that lives in the womb, in the blood, in the erotic body.

That severing didn't stay out there in the world. It came inside. Into the nervous system, into the creative life, into the way we relate to our own depth and the depth of those around us.Shame is not just a feeling. It's a somatic experience - contraction, disconnection, the quiet severing of ourselves from sensation, from pleasure, from the places in our body that carry the most life. It is how we learn to abandon ourselves before anyone else can.

These three days are an act of reversal and integration. We're not here to heal in the clinical sense - we're here to reclaim the body as a site of intelligence, creativity, and spiritual power. To access the inherited traumas and suppressed emotions not as wounds to manage but as doorways into our most alive, most embodied, most creative selves. To learn what it means to hold space - for grief, for community, for the erotic - from a place that is genuinely rooted in the body rather than performing rootedness from the neck up.

When we stop managing the feminine and start worshipping it, something ancient wakes up. That is what we are here for.

What we’ll move through

DAY 1 · SUNDAY APRIL 12 (11a-12.30p PT)

Hysterical

with Adriana and Raquel Garcia · Embodied performance, laughter and comedy as medicine

The parts of us that have been called 'too much,' 'dramatic,' 'irrational' - they deserve a stage. Sacred theater and shadow comedy as portal to truth. Bring the part of you that has never been allowed to be this funny, this dark, this free.

DAY 2 · MONDAY APRIL 13 (11a-12.30p PT)

Grief and embodied Love in action + Radicalizing Your Practice

with Adriana Rizzolo and Alexandra Gonzalez!

We start in the body wiht the Great Mother. Somatic movement, trance dance, and ritual - working with grief and rage not as problems to solve but as energies of truth. You don't need to know what you're grieving. You just need to be willing to feel it move.

DAY 3 · TUESDAY APRIL 14 (11a-12.30p PT)

The pelvic voice, womb tending and sex magic

with Adriana and Alli Caw

Alli cracks the space open with ritual theater - waking the voice, dropping into the body, making room for what needs to come through. Then Adriana takes it under. Into the grief beneath the grief, the intimacy that actually scares you, the relational wounds that live in the body long after the story ends. This is where we find out what's waiting on the other side. Space to honor hte psychic power of your womb and the transmutation of shame that naturally occurs when we gather. Pelvic health issues and block around our sexual health and liberation will be tended to!

Grief, rage, and aliveness are threads of the same tapestry.

WHO THIS IS FOR

→ Women, men and themselves who've done the therapy, the breathwork, and know something deeper is still asking for them

→ Those who've sat in Adriana's free events, her courses, her circles and felt the pull to go further than a single container can take you

→ Practitioners - somatic workers, doulas, coaches, therapists, priestesses - who know that what they're holding in session isn't just personal. It's ancestral, and it needs a different kind of training

→ Women who are done with healing as self-improvement. Who are ready to work with darkness, grief, and shadow as sacred - not as problems to fix

→ Anyone who's felt the absence of initiation, of real rite of passage, of elders who speak the truth without softening it

→ Those who can't make it to a live retreat but refuse to miss the transmission - the ones holding down families, farms, businesses, oceans between them and us

→ Students of mythology, the body, the underworld - who want a living practice, not just theory

→ Women who feel the pull of the Dark Goddess but don't yet have language for what she's asking of them

→ Those who've read the books, done the courses, circled up with other women - and are ready to become someone who leads that work

HOW WE WORK: THE BODY TEMPLE METHOD

Body Temple is rooted in somatic practice and ancestral knowing. Which means we work with the body as the primary site of transformation, not the mind. The intelligence you're looking for is already in you. We create the conditions for it to move, be witnesssed and heard.

Somatic Awareness

We begin by learning to track - sensations, emotional states, the subtle language of the nervous system. You don't need to understand what you're feeling. You just need to be willing to feel it.

Ritual Container

Every session is held in a structured, consent-based space - one that makes it safe to go somewhere real. Boundaries and attunement are not afterthoughts. They are the work.

Archetypal Exploration

We work with symbolic and mythic identities - rage, grief, the wild self, the lover, the ancestor - as a way of externalizing internal material and seeing it clearly. This is the territory of ritual theater and shadow work.

 Expressive Movement

Improvisational, trance-based dance gives the body permission to express what language can't reach. You don't need to know how to dance. You need to be willing to move.

Collective Witnessing

Being seen in your full emotional truth - without judgment, without fixing - is one of the most healing experiences available to a human being. The group is not incidental. It is medicine.

Together, these practices support the release of suppressed emotional energy, the integration of shadow, the restoration of bodily agency, and the reconnection of sexuality, spirituality, and emotional aliveness — which were never meant to be separate.
