Embodied Performance:
Ritual, Rage & Divine Comedy
Weekend Retreat · Kat Mills Martin & Adriana Marie RizzoloA weekend for women ready to stop managing everyone's experience - and start listening to what their bodies, hearts, and souls have been trying to say.
Fri, July 10, 2026 - Sun, July 12, 2026
In person in Ojai
What if..
The parts of you you've spent years trying to manage, soften, or hide aren't the problem?
Your anger isn't a flame to tame but a fire to tend?
Your intensity isn't too much - and your hormones aren't just something to fix, but learn from?
Your grief, longing, creativity, and spiritual sensitivity are not signs you're broken — but signs that something deeper is trying to come alive?
THIS IS AN INPERSON WEEKEND RETREAT FOR WOMEN WHO ARE READY TO:Loosen the grip of..
people-pleasing, perfectionism, and self-abandonment and reconnect with the wisdom of their bodies, voices, and spiritual lives.
Through movement, writing, ritual, performance practices, voice work, and somatic exploration, you'll step into a space where you can safely experiment with new ways of expressing yourself - and relating to others.
This is shadow work in service to the love you seek. Many women have been conditioned to prioritise being liked over being real - to suppress anger, doubt themselves, second-guess their intuition, and carry the emotional weight of everyone around them. The qualities we've been taught to distrust are often the very doorway to deeper connection.
This retreat is for women who are ready to stop shrinking. Come as you are. Bring your mess, your brilliance, your questions, your contradictions, your rage, your tenderness, your longing.
There is nothing wrong with you. There may simply be more of you waiting to emerge. 🌹
We'll explore
Releasing people-pleasing and performance-based worth
Working with anger and grief as sources of vitality
Reconnecting with intuition and authentic expression
Finding your voice in relationships and leadership
Deepening spiritual connection through embodied practice
Transforming self-consciousness into presence
Expect movement practices, Body Temple Dance, writing exercises, group ritual, creative exploration, meaningful conversation, laughter, tears, and moments of profound recognition.
YOUR GUIDES
Together they bring three decades of teaching experience across somatics, Tantra, ritual theater, and feminine mysticism. Electric, weirdly healing, and unapologetically fun.
Adriana Marie Rizzolo
Adriana's work bridges somatic healing, ritual, dance, and spirituality — traversing the often-unspoken territories of grief, desire, rage, and transformation. A force of nature with a background across the creative and healing arts.
Kat Mills Martin
Decades of experience in theater, film, movement, and creative process. Kat brings grounded guidance and playful experimentation that helps participants access deeper layers of authenticity — art-making as spiritual practice.
The short film I wrote and produced with Kat Mills called "It's Not Pee' got into Raindance - Uk's largest independent film festival! It highlights the sacred sexuality work of my teacher Deborah Sundahl, who was a queer sex educator who taught women and folks with vulvas for FORTY YEARS about the sacredness portal, G-Spot orgasm and female ejaculation.
We share the story in a visually enticing way of my journey becoming a somatic sex educator studying with her for the last years of her life (I hosted her last in person workshop in Austin Texas), the rage that is a part of the process (think more Innana's journey less Tony Robins) and the connection between our birth, mothers, the waters of this Earth and our capacity for pleasure.
